What is ‘Transport for Ireland’?

Transport for Ireland is the “single public transport brand”* which the National Transport Authority has developed to promote and integrate public transport provision in Ireland.

It’s where we bring together information and services to help make public transport a little easier for you to use in your day-to-day life.

This website ( ) is a one-stop-shop for up-to-the-minute travelling and commuting information.  From your own desk, home or smartphone, you can now easily access door-to-door journey plans, at a time you want.  Or real-time information on when the next bus will arrive at the stop around the corner, or the next Luas at your local stop.  Or find out how much credit you have left on your Leap card, details of your recent trips, and upload some additional credit onto your Leap card while you’re at it.
