DESCRIPTION:We as a group are travelling to Downings for a fully guided 2 – 2.5 hour tour of Island Roy and around the Atlantic Drive\, led by Joe Boyle\, proprietor of E-bikes\, Downings. The company will supply hi viz vests and appropriate helmets ensuring safety for our participants\, many of whom may not have experienced cycling for some considerable time. \nThis outing will be an environmentally friendly and healthy way to explore the beautiful scenery Rosguill Penninsul along the Wild Atlantic Way by the Shed Members and friends. As an organisation\, we are keen for our members of all ages to enjoy outdoor activities\, as well as appreciating all that is already on offer right on our doorsteps. Lunch will be provided at the Downings Bay Hotel afterwards.

DESCRIPTION:The 5th year LCVP students will visit Downings and go an see local Business as part of their LCVP task and assignment. As part of their visit to e-Bikes Downings they will get a full demonstration of how the e-Bikes business operates. As part of the trip they will go out on the e-bikes to try an encourage students to cycle more at home\, to/from school and socially with their friends as part of their daily exercise. \nAll aspects of the road safety\, promoting the e-bikes and engaging in the whole dynamic of using e-bikes as part of their lives will be explored on their trip around the Atlantic Drive.
