DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Mountain biking at Ticknock National Mountain Bike Trail Centre on Saturday\, 16th May. \nThese FREE sessions aim to introduce Mountain biking as a means of fun\, exercise\, and exploring the great outdoors that Dublin has on its doorstep. \nRiders will be taught the fundamental skills for navigating the MTB trails in a safe and enjoyable way. DESCRIPTION:Bike Week 2026 at Glencullen Adventure Park will take place over two days\, Friday May 15th and Saturday May 16th\, offering free beginner mountain bike coaching sessions for men\, women\, and youths aged 12+. On Friday\, participants can join a Beginner Men’s Coaching session from 10am–1pm and a Beginner Women’s Coaching session from 2pm–5pm\, with 8 places available in each. Saturday expands with Beginner Men’s Coaching running (10am–1pm) and Women’s beginner coaching in the afternoon (2pm–5pm)\, alongside dedicated Beginner Youth (12+) sessions at the same times morning and afternoon\, each with 8 participants. In total\, 48 participants will take part across the two days. The event is fully funded through support from Cycling Ireland and DLR Active Travel\, making all sessions free and accessible\, and aims to introduce new riders to mountain biking in a supportive\, professionally coached environment.
