The skills course gives children a basic introduction to some of the skills needed for BMX\, participants will get to practice their balance over small beams and ramps and watch as the Pro BMX Riders show off their tricks. The event will be open to Schools from 10am til 3pm and while it’s free to take part\, booking is essential. \nFrom 4pm to 6pm the course will be open to the general public to come and try\, children under 16 will need a parent/guardian with them to sign the consent form. It is a great opportunity for families to get active\, build confidence on bikes\, and enjoy a relaxed day outdoors together.\nThis event is suitable for all ages and abilities\, whether you’re new to cycling or looking to improve your skills in a fun and supportive environment.\nWhat to expect:\n• Skills & drills sessions and fun cycling games\n• Bike maintenance workshops and safety talks\n• Bike decorating station\n• Ice cream van on site\nImportant Information:\n• This is a family event – parents/guardians must remain on site and are responsible for their children at all times\n• All activities will be supervised by qualified coaches and volunteers\n• Participants should bring their own bikes where possible\n• A limited number of bikes will be available to borrow for games and activities\nSafety:\n• Helmets must be worn at all times while cycling (for both children and adults)\n• All bikes must be roadworthy with working brakes\nCome along\, get involved\, and enjoy a great day of cycling\, fun\, and community!
