The event will also include ‘Tour De Merlin Woods’ a guided family cycle exploring the woodland trails surrounding Merlin Woods. Helmets are mandatory for all participants taking part in the BMX workshop and the Tour De Merlin Woods guided cycle. This inclusive event welcomes anyone with a bike and helmet. \nA welcoming\, inclusive event for families\, children\, and young people of all ages. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique and exciting Bike Week event combining cycling and outdoor rock climbing in the beautiful surroundings of Coolaney!\nThe evening will begin with a guided group cycle from Coolaney Community Park\, led by Northwest Adventure Tours. The route will take approximately 30 minutes on public roads\, so participants should be comfortable cycling in a group and sharing the road with traffic.\nThe cycle will bring us to Scalp na gCapall\, where members of Sligo Climbing Club will introduce you to outdoor rock climbing. This session will focus on roped rock climbing (top-rope climbing)\, where participants are safely secured with harnesses and ropes\, allowing you to climb natural rock faces with guidance and support from experienced climbers. No previous climbing experience is needed!\nAfter the climbing session\, the group will cycle back to Coolaney Community Park to finish.
