DESCRIPTION:“We will hold a Bike Day in our 3rd term.\nOn this day\, children are encouraged to cycle to school in so far as is possible. Children from 3rd up to 6th class go on a school cycle on a local route. Teachers and parents guide the children on this cycle. We will also have a garda car to accompany the cycle. Children stop at a half way mark for refreshments.\nChildren from Infants up to 2nd class will participate in bike day on the school grounds. Throughout the Sprocket Rocket programme the cyclist is brought through three progressions in each of these skills.
