DESCRIPTION:All children who cycle to school this week will have the opportunity to participate in our exciting Bike Fun Day at Scoil Mhuire B&C\, facilitated by Luke Cape and Ronan McLaughlin. \nThe event will feature a range of engaging and skill-building cycling activities\, including obstacle courses\, road safety drills\, seesaw ramps\, slow bicycle races\, and roundabout challenges. These activities are designed to promote confidence\, coordination\, and safe cycling practices in a fun and supportive environment. \nIn addition\, children who cycle to school during the week will be eligible to receive prizes in recognition of their efforts and enthusiasm.

Coffee\, tea\, fruit & pastries to fuel up after your cycle will be available. \nStudent Bicycle Maintenance Workshop & Fun Obstacle Course\nAll students of Menlough National School will take part in a hands-on bicycle maintenance workshop. Full of safety and practical tips on taking care of your bicycle\, adjusting your seat height\, maintaining your brakes\, tyres etc. Also a revision on safety\, including being seen.\nThis will be followed by a fun obstacle & skills course for all students\, so bicycles\, balance bikes\, tricycles and scooters welcome.

Along the way\, they will have the opportunity to explore nature\, take in the scenery and develop their awareness of outdoor safety. Most importantly\, it will be a chance for the students to enjoy being active together\, have fun and create positive memories while cycling.
