Tá go leor spásanna ár rothair a chuir faoi ghlas timpeall na háite. \nBí cinnte soilse a bheith agat chun a bheith in ann rothaíocht abhaile! \nTá fáilte roimh chách – is fearr Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste! \nJoin us on our cycle on the Royal Canal this Bike Week. We will cycle from Ashtown to North Strand on the canal and then on to Fairview on the protected bike lane. There will be a mini Pop-up Gaeltacht with drinks and finger food waiting in The Strand House there. This is the first time the City Council has organised a Bike Week event through Irish and we are really looking forward to you joining us! There are plenty of stands for us to lock our bikes to around Fairview. \nDon’t forget to bring bike lights so that you can cycle home safely! \nEveryone with any level of Irish is welcome to join!

DESCRIPTION:Upperchurch Drombane Cycling Club will host a series of three group cycles on Wednesday 15th May\, starting at 6:30pm from the car park at the Horse and Jockey Hotel.\nThe cycles will cater for different levels of cyclists\, including: \nChildren cycling with parents\nBeginners\nMore experienced cyclists \nEach group will be led by a guide and will follow a suitable route for that group. All groups are expected to finish at approximately the same time.\nAfter the cycles\, tea\, coffee\, and refreshments will be provided for all participants in the Stables at the Horse and Jockey Hotel.\nParticipants should bring a roadworthy bike and helmet.

SUMMARY:Rock n Roll; Cycle & Climb
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique and exciting Bike Week event combining cycling and outdoor rock climbing in the beautiful surroundings of Coolaney!\nThe evening will begin with a guided group cycle from Coolaney Community Park\, led by Northwest Adventure Tours. The route will take approximately 30 minutes on public roads\, so participants should be comfortable cycling in a group and sharing the road with traffic.\nThe cycle will bring us to Scalp na gCapall\, where members of Sligo Climbing Club will introduce you to outdoor rock climbing. This session will focus on roped rock climbing (top-rope climbing)\, where participants are safely secured with harnesses and ropes\, allowing you to climb natural rock faces with guidance and support from experienced climbers. No previous climbing experience is needed!\nAfter the climbing session\, the group will cycle back to Coolaney Community Park to finish.
