DESCRIPTION:We propose to offer schools the opportunity to bring classes to try riding on Sundrive velodrome. Over the course of a school day we can accommodate up to 48 children split into smaller groups. We provide bikes\, helmets and cycling shoes for participants. \nA day out at the velodrome offers participants a unique experience where they ride on a banked track on fixed wheel bikes with only one gear. \nWe will have three accredited coaches on hand throughout the sessions.

Did you know there are over 115 km of cycle lanes in Limerick?\nThis is a relaxed\, inclusive group ride\, led by experienced bike leaders and using cycle lanes as much as possible. The route is flat and loop based\, with short loops of up to 5 km. Participants can choose how much they cycle – if you’re comfortable completing all the loops\, the total distance is up to 15 km.\nThe ride is suitable for all ages and abilities and is about building confidence for everyday cycling.\nChildren must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:We will host a family fun cycle. The event will consist of basic bike and helmet set up and maintenance with our cycle coach (last year it was amazing watching the young children take the learning on board). Then we will lead the group pm a cycle on a flatish quiet road – we are guided by the participants as to how far to go c. 8k with small children. Afterwards we will have refreshments to celebrate our achievements. Children should be accompanied.
