SUMMARY:Leitrim Cycling Festival
DESCRIPTION:Our 10th Leitrim Cycling Festival will be taking place in the lovely village of Cloone\, Co. Leitrim on the weekend of May 8th\, 9th and 10th. This festival is a fantastic way to promote cycling in Leitrim and rural areas\, to encourage people of all cycling abilities to take part\, to showcase all that Cloone and Leitrim has to offer in terms of its beautiful scenery\, active and talented residents\, opportunities for connection and future collaboration and to celebrate communities. The weekend of activities will be co-designed\, co-organised and co-delivered with the Cloone Community Centre group. All events are free and everyone is welcome whether they attend one event or all events. DESCRIPTION:6th class students will take part in Cycle Right Training.  Cycle Right is the national standard for cycle training\, which is produced and facilitated by Cycling Ireland. It provides practical skills and safety training to promote competent and confident cyclists. The Cycle Right programme operates in collaboration with Department of Transport and RSA.

SUMMARY:St. Patricks Primary School Galway - Bike Repair Workshop
DESCRIPTION:An Meitheal Rothar will be repairing bicycles for children in the school. Approx. 25 bikes will be repaired. These will be bikes belonging to children in the school\, parents and teachers. The expectation is that the majority of the bikes repaired will be children’s bikes with the remainder being adults bikes with preference given to parents’ bikes.
