SUMMARY:Cycle Freedom Free Bike Hire @ Marina
DESCRIPTION:Participants will meet on St Patrick’s Quay in Cork City before setting out on a relaxed guided cycle towards Marina Park using the city cycle lanes. From there the group will join the Cork Harbour Greenway and follow the old Blackrock railway line through Blackrock and Mahon. The cycle will pass several well-known locations including Blackrock Castle and the Marina before returning to the city. The route uses cycle lanes and greenways and is approximately 95% traffic free. Bikes and helmets can be provided for participants who need them.

SUMMARY:Fingal Climate Action & Bike Week
DESCRIPTION:Fingal Climate Action & Bike Week kicks off with a free family fun day from 12pm – 6pm on the Learn 2 Cycle Track in Millennium Park. We’ll have a huge range of activities for the whole family\, including the street velodrome\, free bike repair\, turning tides sea aquarium\, 3 v 3 basketball\, archery\, street games\, orienteering\, the Dublin 15 Toy Library and much more. The event is our flagship event for Dublin 15 and promises to be a celebration of sustainability\, cycling and family fun.

SUMMARY:Safe Cycle to School Training Initiative
DESCRIPTION:Royal and Prior Comprehensive will take part in Bike Week 2026 by promoting cycling to school and encouraging more students to cycle where possible. They will run cycle training sessions\, focus on students within a 5km radius of the school\, and share information about local cycling routes and safety. The school will also raise awareness of cycling in the wider school and local community and engage with nearby schools to promote participation in Bike Week activities.
