After the cycle we will return to Brace Community Response Building for food\, refreshments and chats. Connect with others in recovery in a supportive environment\, begin to form connections\, build bridges into a recovery lifestyle and create a new identity for yourself. \nThe Recovery Road Cycling Club seeks to challenge stigma and lessen it as a barrier to change. Their strategy is simple yet profound – they cycle together\, they promote visible recovery. SUMMARY:Cork Through The Centuries – A City Cycle
DESCRIPTION:Participants will meet on St Patrick’s Quay before setting out on a guided cycle through Cork City. The route will visit several historic and scenic areas including the River Lee quays\, the city centre\, and other well-known locations around the city. The group will cycle at an easy pace with short stops along the way where the guide will share stories about the history of Cork and how the city developed over the past 1\,500 years. The cycle will use cycle lanes and quieter streets where possible. Children attending must be 16 or older.
