DESCRIPTION:We are engaging with two local Primary Schools adjacent to the Greenway\, encouraging the local school children to get more active. The Greenway is a safe way to cycle to school from the local area. We have engaged a local cycle right tutor to deliver bike safety and a bike check on the children’s bikes before they set off on their cycle. Children and adults a cycle to Marina for refreshments provided by Rabelo Cafe at the Marina\, ice cream for the children and coffee and tea for the adults.

DESCRIPTION:Participants will meet on St Patrick’s Quay before setting out on a guided cycle through Cork City. The route will visit several historic and scenic areas including the River Lee quays\, the city centre\, and other well-known locations around the city. The group will cycle at an easy pace with short stops along the way where the guide will share stories about the history of Cork and how the city developed over the past 1\,500 years. The cycle will use cycle lanes and quieter streets where possible. Children attending must be 16 or older.
