The initiative will be delivered in collaboration with Muintir na Tíre and is subject to confirmation with Cork Community Bikes\, who are expected to support the delivery of the cycle clinic and community engagement elements. Overall\, the event aims to increase awareness of the benefits of cycling\, support sustainable transport\, enhance bike safety\, and strengthen community connections through a well-organised and family-friendly Bike Week initiative.

DESCRIPTION:Participants will meet on St Patrick’s Quay before setting out on a relaxed guided cycle along the Cork Harbour Greenway. The cycle will follow the riverside route towards Blackrock and Mahon using cycle lanes and greenways. The pace will be easy and there will be short stops along the way where participants can chat through Irish while hearing about the history and development of Cork Harbour. Bikes and helmets can be provided for anyone who needs them. Children should be 16+.
