DESCRIPTION:We aim to encourage students to cycle safely to school each day during bike week with a hope that children might continue after bike week as the weather improves and days get brighter. Our school is along a busy road so safety will be our priority and will instruct children to cycle safely with their bikes and helmets. On May 15th we propose to bring our senior classes along the canal as this is a very safe space to cycle.

DESCRIPTION:Each year we take a cycling roadshow to the local senior school TY students\, with 2 bikes from opposite ends of the spectrum\, interactive quizzes and competitions\, a Q&A session and the now famous CO2 inflator and saddle height demos.

DESCRIPTION:All children who cycle to school this week will have the opportunity to participate in our exciting Bike Fun Day at Scoil Mhuire B&C\, facilitated by Luke Cape and Ronan McLaughlin. \nThe event will feature a range of engaging and skill-building cycling activities\, including obstacle courses\, road safety drills\, seesaw ramps\, slow bicycle races\, and roundabout challenges. These activities are designed to promote confidence\, coordination\, and safe cycling practices in a fun and supportive environment. \nIn addition\, children who cycle to school during the week will be eligible to receive prizes in recognition of their efforts and enthusiasm.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all students\, friends and families  of Scoil Mhuire Naofa. Time to hop on your bicycle\, tricycle\, balance bike\, tandem or unicycle and cycle to school for your breakfast! Coffee\, tea\, fruit & pastries to fuel up after your cycle will be available. \nStudent Bicycle Maintenance Workshop & Fun Obstacle Course\nAll students of Menlough National School will take part in a hands-on bicycle maintenance workshop. Full of safety and practical tips on taking care of your bicycle\, adjusting your seat height\, maintaining your brakes\, tyres etc. Also a revision on safety\, including being seen.\nThis will be followed by a fun obstacle & skills course for all students\, so bicycles\, balance bikes\, tricycles and scooters welcome.
