DESCRIPTION:Mountain Biking is a big part of the Tír Chonaill GAP scene\, and we have attracted many new members to the club through mountain biking\, either directly from Bike Week or from seeing the photos on social media.\nThe event will start and finish at McCafferty’s Bar in Lettermacaward and we will take beginner cyclists off road on gravel\, farm and mountain tracks. The scenery is spectacular\, the views even better\, and the terrain even even better.\nIf you’ve never ridden a mountain bike but fancy a crack at this off road fun\, this is the event for you. You will be joined by experienced cyclists who will help you manage the terrain.\nWe have a few bikes available to lend\, but these will be allocated on a first come first served basis\, so please let us know in advance if you need one.

DESCRIPTION:Scoil Mhuire B&C is excited to host a special Bike Fun Day for pupils who cycle to school. Any child who cycles in will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun and engaging cycling activities\, facilitated by Luke Cape and Ronan McLaughlin. \nOn the day\, children will get the chance to test their skills and confidence on obstacle courses\, road safety drills\, seesaw ramps\, slow bicycle races\, and roundabout challenges. The event is designed to promote safe cycling while encouraging fun and active travel to school. \nAs an added incentive\, prizes will be awarded to children who cycle to school throughout the week.
