INCLUSIVE CYCLING COME AND TRY DAY

A chance for children and adults with additional physical and intellectual needs to try out a trishaw, wheelchair bike or adapted cycle in a safe environment.

Time:  12pm-3pm

Location: Phoenix Park

“Giro D’Italia” – Ride Green Ireland

Cycle from the Phoenix Park to LucanHouse to the beautiful grounds of the residence of the Ambassador of Italy in Ireland for the

“Giro D’ItaliaRide Green” and enjoy complimentary lunch, live music, and activities.

Time: 10.30am (Adults) and 12pm (Families)

Location: Phoenix Park to Lucan House

Bike Maintenance Workshop
Monthly Cycles are organising a bike
maintenance workshop in the Bike Hub,
Crumlin. The workshop will cover the
basics of getting to know your own bike,
what do all those bits of wires and
levers actually do?! Basic safety
checks and at home repairs you can do
to keep your bike in tip top condition!
Like all Monthly Cycles activities,
it is primarily aimed at women and
will involve tea/coffee and cake
and lots of chats. Please book your

Sunset Cycle Social

Join us for a leisurely cycle on a
completely car-free path in the Phoenix
Park to enjoy the summer’s evening and
see the sunset. This cycle will be
approximately 5km at a very gentle and
leisurely pace so will be suitable for
all ages and abilities. Cyclists of all
abilities and bikes of all types are
welcome to join.

History of Clontarf by Bike

A Clontarf Bike Week event open to all,
it’s a slow cycle suitable for adults
of all abilities. There will be two
community trishaws from cycle without
age Clontarf joining us.

We start at the Red Stables building
in St Anne’s Park at 7pm. The slow
cycle will take approximately 1.5hrs
finishing up at Harry Byrnes on the
Howth Road. We stop at six locations
on route where local historian and
author Dennis McIntyre will give a
talk at each location.

This event is by Dublin Cycling
Campaign with Clontarf Residents
Association and Clontarf Cycle
Without Age.

Join the Bike Hub for ‘Bikes & Bugs’
parade at Eamonn Ceannt Park on Sat
20th of May. Dress up as creatures,
flowers, or insects from the park and
take part in our family friendly
cycling and walking parade. If you
arrive early we can help you create a
costume. Prize for Best Dressed Bike/
Person sponsored by Jiminy, the
sustainable toy company @jiminy.ie

Community Garden Cycle

Come join the Dublin Cycling Campaign
and Dublin Community Growers on
Saturday May 20th for a leisurely
cycle tour of some of Dublin’s
wonderful community gardens. There
are two main routes: Northside from
Santry to Mansion House or Raheny
to Mansion House

Southside from the Stillgarden to
Mansion House

Both routes will meet up at the
Mansion House where the Lord Mayor
will host us for refreshments for
the cyclists or members of Dublin
Community Growers.

Each route takes approximately
2.5hrs and is open to all cycling
abilities (children must be
accompanied by an adult)

Pedalpalooza Cycle Parade
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are
invited to join the Pedalpalooza cycle
parade for a fun, colourful, community
cycle. This 5km cycle will be family-
friendly and travel at a gentle pace.
Starting in Capel Street the cycle
parade will travel along the Liffey,
through the Docklands, ending at
Ringsend Park, where activities
celebrating cycling will be taking
place throughout the day for
Pedalpalooza.

Pedalpalooza Bike Festival
Pedalpalooza is a family-friendly bike
festival celebrating cycling. The festival
will be full of cycling related activities,
bike maintenance workshops, bike demos
for a range of bikes, trishaw rides,
activities for children, cycling obstacle
courses, pedal-powered activities, music
and food.
