Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership with Sports Active Wexford and Wexford County Council invite all families to join us in the South East Greenway Family Cycle on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from the Rosbercon entrance to the South East Greenway. There will be two events on the day, both are geared towards family enjoyment of the South East Greenway. At 10am a family 12km cycle will start and this will be followed at 10.15 by a shorter 6km cycle.
Guided mountain bike Family Social session, that will include some skills/games followed by a guided spin on some of the mountain bike trails in Glencullen adventure park.
The championship schedule includes youth races starting from 2:10 PM, a Masters race at 4:00 PM, a Bike Week Fun and Inclusion Cycle at 5:30 PM, the Women’s Elite Race at 6:30 PM, and the Open Elite Race at 7:30 PM. The event concludes with final presentations at 8:45 PM.
To encourage families to spend time together cycling and expose them to the local amenity MY Greenway. To facilitate free bike hire for children & adults who may have forgotten the freedom of cycling and don’t have a bike of their own.

Our Royal Canal Greenway Leisure Cycle is an event focused on encouraging recreational and leisure cyclists to take advantage of the wonderful cycling opportunities provided by the Royal Canal Greenway.

In a special collaboration between Dublin City Council and the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), artist Michelle Browne will lead a bespoke, in-person workshop for Dublin Bike Week at IMMA, exploring what sights, sounds or smells are part of your everyday experiences of moving through Dublin and its suburbs.
This event for Mulranny is for Adults and all experience levels to help promote awareness and safety and community engagement of e-bikes. This event will take place at Mulranny Amenity Centre F28 N8N2
An 18km cycle on a 6km loop for youth aged 17-18 at Moynalty Threshing Field, Co. Meath organised by Cycling Ireland for Bike Week.
The event will take place in Green Park, Youghal where e-bikes will be available to cycle around the park. Coupled with cycling safety information as well as activities for kids.
A free family fun cycle led by a cycle trainer around Herbert Park to celebrate Bike Week. Participation certificates and limited goody bags available for kids.

Bike art Workshop at Cork City Library on Sat 17th May
Join us for a fun celebration of cycling culture in Cork (+ a free picnic and live music). You can join us from 3pm for a Festive Picnic, Music and Games at the Lough.
Just turn up on your bike at the Lough, Cork City -We'll have a soft drink, salad, bread and meat/vegan option for each cyclists and please feel free to bring along picnic rugs, folding chairs, more food drinks etc.
After the Picnic we'll have a relaxed social evening in the pleasant surroundings of the Lough as well as some bike games and live Music.
Young and old get to enjoy quality time in the saddle alongside one another with this family cycle from Clifden Bike Shop along Beach Road to Clifden Lifeboat Station and return a gentle 4.5km for about 1.5 hours for National Bike Week. All children must be accompanied by an adult and helmets are compulsory.

Cycling in traffic - Confidence building tips, where to be on the road, what to look out for and more. Small groups after some cycling skills practice will be taken around a route through Skibbereen town to see and practice junctions and other road features
