Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail fares vary by type of service – DART, Commuter or Intercity.
You can buy DART/Commuter tickets at the station or touch on and off with your TFI Leap Card. TFI Leap fares are 21-32% cheaper than cash single fares, and you can save even more with Fare Capping
The TFI 90 MInute fare now applies journeys made on Dublin Bus, Luas and most DART, commuter rail (zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone) and Go-Ahead Ireland services in Dublin when using your TFI Leap Card.
Intercity fares have 3 options – low-flex, semi-flex and fully-flex.
*Amendments cannot be made on tickets already printed.
TFI Leap Card is not available on Intercity routes.
The Free Travel Pass is valid on all services and under 5’s can travel for free.

From November 28th, TFI Leap Card fares changed on DART and commuter rail zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone, with the introduction of the TFI 90 Minute Fare and a new short fare. These fares replaced the existing zone based fare system for TFI Leap Card.
The new TFI 90 Minute Fare for TFI Leap Card gives the option to transfer between Dublin Bus, Luas and most DART, commuter rail (zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone) and Go-Ahead Ireland services in Dublin when touching on your last journey within 90 minutes of the first.
