Do you have a bike at home that requires a puncture repair or brakes check? Call into one of the following local shops and avail of a FREE mainteance check (to the value of €15 per bike, excluding any other deals which may be running in store at that time and subject to availability). Visit Monaghan Plant Hire, Castleblayney Plant Hire or Spin Doctor, Emyvale between 10th May and 17th May to avail of the maintenance check and mention Bike Week Offer.
Bike Safety, Bike Skills and Bike Maintenance
During Bike Week, club volunteers will visit local schools for fun, hands-on cycling sessions. Teens at The Comp in Glenties will learn basic bike maintenance, while younger children at national schools will practice cycling skills in the playground

Join us for an exciting evening of cycling-themed activities at the Wicklow Town Bike Week Festival on Thursday, May 15. Taking place in the Murrough Carpark from 4pm to 7pm, the event is free and open to all ages and abilities.
Dunfanaghy Family Resource Centre will host a bike maintenance workshop which will teach skills like - How to remove a tyre - Fix a puncture, - Lubricating your chain - Brake care - Keeping your bike rust free - Adjusting seat/ handlebars as you grow taller - Be seen be safe
To learn how gears should work and do simple repairs yourself.
Bike Maintenance evening, on repairs you can do at home to get the bikes roadworthy.
