Held near the ATU grounds, the farmers market will reward visitors who cycle with a free tea or coffee and treat at LaPapa restaurant. Transition Year students will be encouraged to bring their bike to school and participate in a historical ‘Castles Tour’ going from Coláiste Iognáid to Terryland Castle to Menlo Castle.
On Tuesday 13th May, Donegal County Council will host a 6km lunchtime cycle around Donegal Town for Bike Week 2025. Staff will enjoy a relaxed ride, a healthy lunch, and learn about cycling safety, the benefits of exercise, the Cycle to Work Scheme, and try out electric bikes.
