Members of Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin will take part in an event aiming to promote and encourage the use of the new Greenway when traveling to and from matches/training. The event will involve a one hour session at the club led by local cycling coaches focusing on cycling skills, cycling safety and guidelines for using the greenway. This will be followed by a guided cycle on the greenway and refreshments in the clubhouse.
A guided cycle through a scale model of the solar system from the Sun at Patricks Bridge to Neptune at Blackrock Castle Observatory, Co. Cork. We will "visit" each planet in turn, learn a little about it, get a feeling of the scale of the solar system and have some fun on the way.

The event for Bike Week will encourage maintenance of own bikes and safety awareness. reaching out to families will encourage families to cycle outside of school also and promote the social and health benefits of cycling. Two other local schools and the gardai will particiapate in thes event also so it reaches out into the wider community to get involved.

Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership with Sports Active Wexford and Wexford County Council invite all families to join us in the South East Greenway Family Cycle on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from the Rosbercon entrance to the South East Greenway. There will be two events on the day, both are geared towards family enjoyment of the South East Greenway. At 10am a family 12km cycle will start and this will be followed at 10.15 by a shorter 6km cycle.

The Athy Family Cycle Event takes place on the Barrow Blueway from Athy to Churchtown on the Blueway and will commence at the Athy Sports Complex on the R417 Monasterevin Road, Athy.
