Start Location: Centre Park Road
Date & Time:

  • Wheelchair Participants: Start at 12:45 PM
  • Runners: Start at 1:00 PM, lining up directly behind the Start Line
  • Walkers: Line up behind the runners
  • Buggy Walkers: Line up behind the walkers

Course Overview (6km / 3.73 miles)

  1. Start: Centre Park Road, heading east toward the Marina
  2. 1km Mark: Near the Marquee venue
  3. 2km Mark: Along the redeveloped Marina, near Holland Park
  4. Blackrock Village: Turn right past the Sunday Market, then right again onto Blackrock Road
  5. 3km Mark: Just after the Ursuline Convent
  6. 4km Mark: Near Barrington’s Avenue
  7. Course Change (TBC):
    • Turn right at Park Avenue (instead of Maryville)
    • Pass the Lavanagh Centre and Joe Duffy Motors (formerly CAB)
  8. 5km Mark: Just before Marquee Road on Monahan Road
  9. Finish: Just before Kennedy Park

Road Closure

Entrance to the start/holding areas are via Mill Road and Marina Walk, off Victoria Road.  Other roads in the area will be closed off and barriered, with security personnel present.  There will be no access from the quay areas. There will be Road Closure Orders in place from 11am on Mill Road, Marina Walk, Kennedy Quay, Centre Park Road, and Monahan Road
