Information Notice – Taxi Driver Check App

This Information Notice is issued by the National Transport Authority of Dún Scéine, Iveagh Court, Harcourt Lane, Dublin 2 (“NTA”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

The purpose of this notice is to inform you of the information we process in connection with the Driver Check application (hereafter the “Driver Check app”) and the uses we make of such information.

Personal Data that we Collect and Process

Driver Check App Usage Data

We use a monitoring application to collate and analyse certain statistical information about the use of the Driver Check app.

Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis

We will use the above usage data relating to you for the purposes of:

• Generating and analysing statistics regarding usage of the Driver Check app, including the frequency of downloads and searches;
• Performing our functions as a public authority and complying with our legal obligations.

Recipients of Data

We do not disclose your usage data to other organisations.
