Barrow Blueway Thru-Way Cycle – Athy

Experience all that is great about a relaxed meandering cycle along the Barrow Blueway Thru-Way Cycle Athy to Roberstown, Co Kildare as part of Bike Week 2025 with Kildare County Council – Kildare Sports Partnership (in collaboration with Laois County Council).

This event for over 18 year olds only is suitable for all abilities – and is taking place 17th May from 9am – 2.30pm

Starting in Athy at The Auld Shebeen Bar, Lock 27 Grand Canal Barrow Line/Barrow Blueway from 9am

Progressing along the Barrow Blueway taking in all the flora and fauna along the 46.5 km to Robertstown.

As the group spin along there will be rest & replenish breaks and points of interest to take in along the way.

Please note this is a relaxed cycle and no rushing. Refreshments provided by Kildare County Council.
