Bike Day, Diarmada National School

To provide our pupils with knowledge and skills to cycle safely.
All children bring their bikes to school and with a Garda Escort we start outside our school on the road and we turn up to the Ringtown Hurling Pitch/car park where we cycle around the pitch and our leader (Garda) explains the rules of the road, necessity of helmets, safe cycling etc to the children.
