Bikes, Biodiversity and Bull Island

May 17 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Join the Biodiversity Team at 11am on Saturday, 17 May for a guided cycle from Alfie Byrne Road to the Causeway Road, taking in the unique landscapes and wildlife of North Bull Island.

A brief introduction to the Island will commence the cycle before peddling along the salt marsh where you’ll have the chance to spot coastal birds feeding in the shallows and later admire wildflowers beginning to emerge across the dunes.

At the Visitor Centre, Conservation Volunteers and Conservation Park Rangers will lead a relaxed walk and talk on the island’s biodiversity and the ongoing conservation efforts to protect its habitats and species.

The session will last 1.5 to 2 hours in total.

This is a great opportunity to experience Dublin’s most important natural reserve on two wheels!

Meeting point – Sails Sculpture, Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3
