Clough NS Bike Week Fun Cycle & Skills Day

Clough National School to host Bike Week Fun Cycle and Skill Day on the GAA pitch in Clough. This event will take place over approximately 2 hours during the school day.
The event will be held on the GAA pitch, providing a safe, enclosed environment for all participants. Students will take part in a series of cycling activities, including a short fun cycle around a marked loop of approximately 500 metres within the pitch grounds. Each participant will complete multiple laps depending on their ability, with sessions lasting 20-30 minutes per group.
The event is targeted at primary school children from Junior infants to 6th class, with activities adapted to suit different age groups and cycling abilities. The focus will be on developing basic cycling skill such as balance, breaking, turning and road safety awareness through fun, structured games and obstacle courses.
Helmets will be required, and bikes/scooters are welcome. Teachers and volunteers will supervise all activities to ensure safety.
This event is primarily for students of Clough National School and will not be open to the general public.
