🚴 Introduction to Cycling – Bike Week Taster Sessions
Celebrate Bike Week 2026 with our fun and engaging Introduction to Cycling taster sessions for children!
These sessions are designed to help young riders build confidence, balance, and essential cycling skills in a safe and supportive environment. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to improve, this is a great opportunity to develop key skills and enjoy being active.
Ages 5–8 Years
🕕 6:00pm – 6:30pm
A fun, play-based session using balance bikes and beginner techniques to help children:
Develop balance and coordination
Learn how to start and stop safely
Build confidence on a bike
Take part in games and simple cycling activities
Ages 9–12 Years
🕡 6:30pm – 7:00pm
A more skills-focused session introducing cycling literacy and road safety basics, including:
Improving bike handling and control
Learning basic road safety awareness
Practising signalling and observation skills
Building confidence riding in a group
