Ride Ready Workshop, bike obstacle course & Community Cycle
We are planning our event for Sunday 17th of May to celebrate Bike Week! We will kick things off with a friendly and informative talk on safe road cycling. This will be followed by a relaxed community cycle led by our local cycling experts from Saddle Rock Cycling Club. This first event which is aimed for adults will be perfect for beginners and casual cyclists, with a comfortable 25km route designed to build confidence and enjoyment.
After the cycle, we’ll return to Barrack Hill for some well-earned healthy refreshments—a great chance to chat, share stories, and connect with fellow participants.
Experts from Carndonagh Cycle will be running a fun and engaging bike obstacle course, helping kids build skills and confidence in a safe environment.
We’ll also have a drop-in bike care clinic running throughout the event, where you can learn essential skills like fixing a puncture, checking your brakes, and keeping your bike in top shape. This is open to teenagers and adults of all experience levels.
