Hop on your bike and challenge yourself to complete a 25km cycle within the designated week of 10th to 18th May. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this event is open to all skill levels. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to challenge yourself, stay active, and earn a well-deserved medal *Open only to residents of Ireland - must register!
A leisurely 46.5km cycle along the full length of the Barrow Blueway from Athy to Robertstown.
There will be a range of Adult Only Events as well as Family Friendly Events with an aim to give a range of ages and abilities in the community an opportunity to get on their bikes!!
Celebrate Bike Week 2025 with a Weekend of mountain biking, skills sessions and family rides at the Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trail Center.
Our popular Bike Week treasure trail at Bonny Glen offers a fun, safe day out for families. Children of all ages follow a lakeside trail, collect clues, and earn goody bags. With fruit kebabs, snacks, and drinks for all, plus tea and coffee for parents, it’s a community favourite!
The championship schedule includes youth races starting from 2:10 PM, a Masters race at 4:00 PM, a Bike Week Fun and Inclusion Cycle at 5:30 PM, the Women’s Elite Race at 6:30 PM, and the Open Elite Race at 7:30 PM. The event concludes with final presentations at 8:45 PM.

A fun kids’ cyclocross event featuring short laps, turns, and simple obstacles to build cycling skills and confidence. Takes place at Ballypatrick, Kilcash Sports Field, May 17th from 3–4pm.
Cycle safety and bike maintenance Kilkelly is suitable for 5-12 year olds who are in national school with all levels of experience in cycling. This event is to help promote Awareness and safety of the road and education and training that is fun and interactive.
Cycling in traffic - Confidence building tips, where to be on the road, what to look out for and more. Small groups after some cycling skills practice will be taken around a route through Skibbereen town to see and practice junctions and other road features
COUCH TO 50K FINALE Come cheer on the cyclists as they complete out their Couch to 50k programme.
New to cycling (triathlon) will include coached demonstration of basic skills & principles for cyclist, coaching exercises followed by a group cycle on the greenway (approx. 10km)
Free Event - Waterford to Wexford East 30K Cycle for Experienced Cyclist only, accompanied by Cycling Leaders, Bike Mechanic, and Community Gardai.
Family Fun Cycle of Greenway starting from Maynooth Harbour
Breffni Wheelers Cycling Club are holding a fun, non-competitive, grass track event for Primary School age children. There will be a mix of skill challenges and mini-races.
