Bike art masterpieces, a retrospective of previous year's Bike Week art exhibitions and last years International Mail Art Call - Opening reception from 6:30pm on Thursday the 8th May - with exhibition open for viewing all through Bike Week 4:30-11:30pm in The Friary No.1 Shandon St. Cork City.
Children from Fenagh NS will be encouraged to cycle and record the amount of time they cycle each day during the Bike week event starting Saturday 10th until Sunday 18th May 2024.
Hop on your bike and challenge yourself to complete a 25km cycle within the designated week of 10th to 18th May. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this event is open to all skill levels. Carlow Sports Partnership is offering free bike hire from the Mullichain Café in St. Mullins, inviting you to explore the scenic Barrow Way. Enjoy a relaxed cycle along the river, soak up the natural beauty of South Carlow, and experience the outdoors at your own pace. No booking needed!
The event will offer 30km & 40km routes with a breakfast stop near the end for participants. The goal is to encourage participation in a social group cycle for club and non-members. We will be encouraging people interested in cycling who are non members to participate in the group cycle and hope to encourage then to get involved with regular group cycles with the club. This will be an easy paced event with experienced club member leading the cycle event and providing marshalling and support. Bikes will be checked and safety will be discussed in a briefing before the cycle.

Sunday Spin with members of the Innisfree Wheelers Cycling Club- Sunday 11th May -starting 9.45am from car park at Knocknarea Arena, ATU, Sligo
A fun 7km cycle suitable for all the family, and all experience levels through the scenic location of Killykeen Forest Park, organised by Cavan Adventure Centre team. Bicycles and Helmets are provided.
The family cycle event will commence at Mackeys Cafe, Donadea at 10am on Sunday 11 May and proceed in a loop west along the local roads, with return to Mackeys Cafe, Donadea for freshments

Come along for a free, family-friendly cycle parade with music, costumes and 4 pick-up points are Bangor Circle, Mount Argus Park, Harold’s Cross Park and Parnell Road (Fire station) for final Kiddie Kilometre ending at Eamonn Ceannt Park. Participants will be guided on a loop around Cork City, using a mix of urban cycle lanes and quieter suburban roads. The event is designed to introduce riders to lesser-known areas of the city and its outskirts, revealing new recreational spaces along the way. This event is designed for stronger cyclists keen to explore a variety of cycle routes across Cork City.
To encourage families to spend time together cycling and expose them to the local amenity MY Greenway. To facilitate free bike hire for children & adults who may have forgotten the freedom of cycling and don’t have a bike of their own.
