We will offer advice to parents on getting children cycling using balance bikes and give children a taste of using a balance bike on a small obstacle course. Suitable for children 10 years of age or older.
A balance bike is a lightweight, pedal-less child’s bike which facilitates balance and propulsion. Children run along whilst seated, push off the ground to create forward movement and use their feet to slow down and stop safely. Bike Skills workshop for pupils
Meitheal will come into the school and do bike checks on all bikes and have the older children do a workshop during this time so they are able to look after their own bikes. Parents of children who cycle to school and wish to cycle to school will be invited to join also.

A maintenance night with our bike mechanic to demonstrate basic skills needed to keep your bike in the best condition.
A short, controlled, social cycle with ladies from local clubs as well as our own. Refreshments served afterwards.
