Participants will be guided on a loop around Cork City, using a mix of urban cycle lanes and quieter suburban roads. The event is designed to introduce riders to lesser-known areas of the city and its outskirts, revealing new recreational spaces along the way. This event is designed for stronger cyclists keen to explore a variety of cycle routes across Cork City.
To encourage families to spend time together cycling and expose them to the local amenity MY Greenway. To facilitate free bike hire for children & adults who may have forgotten the freedom of cycling and don’t have a bike of their own.
Gorey Bike Fest & Family Slow Roll Cycle is a family friendly event focused on all things cycling. There's something for all ages, from balance bikes to eBike demos. “Slow Roll,” a fun all-ages cycle from the park to the town centre and back again. Everyone taking part will receive a refreshment voucher for The Coffee Pod.
