Children from Fenagh NS will be encouraged to cycle and record the amount of time they cycle each day during the Bike week event starting Saturday 10th until Sunday 18th May 2024.
Pedal and Puzzle: Cork's Great Bike Hunt - take part at your own pace
A two-part beginner cycling challenge with South Tipperary Cycling Club’s, helping you build toward a 30km ride through fun, supportive group sessions. Starts May 11th at Duhill Community Centre.
To encourage children to cycle safely from their homes to visit friends, clubs and school. To make the most of the Greenway which is close by our school.
Asking children to cycle every day to school including a "bling your bike" day. Local sports coach coming to school to organise cycling routes and courses around school yard and grounds. All classes to create a pedal power project as homework for the week - this could be a presentation, a piece of art, a piece of creative writing, a poster, a video - or anything that they would like to present. Prizes will be given for these presentations and for the best decorated bike - the prizes will relate to cycling eg helmets and bike accessories.
Between 12th and 16th May St. Michael's NS Westmeath will hold a 'New to Cycling (triathlon)' and a variety of bike related activities such as write a poem, bike art work, scoot or cycle to school, family cycle on wellbeing Wednesday, prize giving for great participation, send in photos of your spending time on your bike

Our Lady's Bower Secondary School, Co. Westmeath - junior classes cycle
As part of Bike week, the annual City centre cycle is a popular event that involves local schools accompanied by volunteers and teachers cycle through the streets of Galway for 3.5km.
Tir Chonaill GAP will host two Bike Week events: an introductory mountain biking session on new Coillte trails, and a safe 40km road cycle using the new N56 cycle path. Both rides offer scenic routes, promote cycling for all levels, and encourage community participation in active, enjoyable outdoor experiences on 14th May from 6pm - contact organisers for more information.

The Treasure Hunt in Westport is suitable for 13-17 years old secondary school students to cycle around Westport on a treasure hunt. This is a challenge and competition while it also promotes group cycles and is suitable for all levels of experience. This will take place at Westport Tennis Club F28 E1C2
