A fun Bike Fest of skills and challenges for children from 5+ plus and inclusive session for children with a disability.
Complete fun, local challenges on two wheels and mark off your bingo card as you explore your community. It’s easy, active, and perfect for all ages. Ready to ride?
Students in the junior classes (2nd 3rd 4th) will cycle laps of the school yard, each student will aim to complete a kilometre daily.
Senior classes (5th & 6th) will use an exercise bike and the ZWift app to complete challenges. Students will be encouraged to cycle to school each day Mon - Fri during the week.
Between 12th and 16th May St. Michael's NS Westmeath will hold a 'New to Cycling (triathlon)' and a variety of bike related activities such as write a poem, bike art work, scoot or cycle to school, family cycle on wellbeing Wednesday, prize giving for great participation, send in photos of your spending time on your bike
Scoil Íde have the following events planned: *Time trials with the senior classes *A bike scavenger hunt. *scoot/cycle to school that week (have a score on the door- homework pass for the class with the most participants)

Wheels For all is suitable for all ages and levels. This cycle is inclusive for families that have children with disabilities. This cycle will help promote awareness and safety when on bikes. This will take place at Manulla Football CLub at F23 KF66.

Ardattin NS is celebrating Bike Week with a fun and engaging series of cycling activities for pupils and families from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th May.
We would hope to ask a local bike expert to come and speak to our pupils regarding bike safety. Pupils would then convene at the local Blueway Trail near Rathcaled in Emper and go on the Blueway as far as Abbeyshrule and back again. A picnic would be organised at a location in Abbeyshrule (playground) as a treat for all who participated. Parents would be welcome to join also.
Students from Ursuline College will embark on a 17km round trip from the school to Strandhill village, Co. Sligo breaking there for ice-cream before returning along the same route back to the school.

Tir Chonaill GAP will host two Bike Week events: an introductory mountain biking session on new Coillte trails, and a safe 40km road cycle using the new N56 cycle path. Both rides offer scenic routes, promote cycling for all levels, and encourage community participation in active, enjoyable outdoor experiences on 14th May from 6pm - contact organisers for more information.
This bicycle promotion event aims to encourage students, parents, and the local community to embrace cycling as a fun, healthy, and environmentally friendly mode of transport. The event will include a safe and scenic cycling route, as well as engaging activities to promote cycling awareness and road safety.
Cycling in a forest with Scoil Éanna, Co. Galway for Bike Week
Join us for an exciting evening of cycling-themed activities at the Wicklow Town Bike Week Festival on Thursday, May 15. Taking place in the Murrough Carpark from 4pm to 7pm, the event is free and open to all ages and abilities.
