You can use the TFI network around Dublin for 90 Minutes with your TFI Leap Card, for just €2 for adults, €1 for young adults (19-25) or students, and 65 cent for children.

The above Leap fares will allow any combination of Dublin City Bus/ Luas/ DART and Commuter Rail travel within Zone 1.
If you use multiple public transport services (Dublin Bus, Go-Ahead Ireland, Luas, DART and commuter rail) throughout a day or a week (Monday-Sunday), we will automatically cap the price so that you will never spend excessively on public transport services.
Once you have reached the daily or weekly cap, no Travel Credit will be charged on your TFI Leap Card when travelling on applicable services.

Yes, to pay the TFI 90 Minute Fare or short fare, a journey must be completed within the 90 minute boundary area. The 90 minute boundary will encompass the Dublin metropolitan area.
The short fares applies to a journey on any single route up to approx. 2km to 3km in length, so some variances will exist in relation to distances people can travel on the short fare. This is for a variety of reasons including the location of individual stops on the public transport network relative to fare boundaries and to the need to maintain fares consistency when routes use different streets depending on direction of travel.
The TFI 90 fare will be applied in this case. After you Tap-On to another Luas, bus or rail service in Dublin within 90 minutes of the first Tap-On, this journey will be free.
When you are availing of the TFI 90 Minute Fare on your Leap Card, you must always Tap On using a Validator before boarding Luas and Tap Off when leaving Luas. This will ensure you have a valid ticket for your journey and you won’t be at risk of receiving a Luas Standard Fare Notice for €100. It will also ensure you get the best value for your journey.
