Dublin By Night Fest is proudly organised by DublinTown, Dublin City Council, Fáilte Ireland (Winter in Dublin programme) and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport. Together, we’re bringing you the ultimate winter launch party – free to attend and open to all.
On Saturday 1st November 2025, the city comes alive after dark as Dublin By Night Fest returns in grand style to kick off Winter in Dublin.
This year’s festival has built on previous years and is expanded across three landmark locations: Dame Street, College Green and Capel Street
Dame Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday 1 November 2025 from 11:00hrs until 02:00hrs on Sunday 2 November 2025. As a result, diversions will be in place – see below for details.
We wish to advise customers that Dame Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday 1 November 2025 from 11:00hrs until 02:00hrs on Sunday 2 November 2025. As a result, the following diversions will be in place:
Routes 14, 15a/b, 16, 65/b, 68/a and 122 (Blue Route)
Southbound
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge, divert, South Quays, Winetavern Street, Lord Edward Street, George’s Street and back on to normal route.
Northbound
Normal route to George’s Street, divert via Lord Edward Street, Winetavern Street, North Quays and back on to normal route.
Routes 27, 56a, 77a, 150 and 151 (Green Route)
Southbound
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge, divert, South Quays, Winetavern Street, Patrick Street and back on to normal route.
Northbound
Normal route to Patrick Street, divert via Winetavern Street, North Quays and back on to normal route.
Route 13 (Orange Route)
Southbound
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge, divert, South Quays, Winetavern Street, High Street and back on to normal route.
Northbound
Normal route to High Street, divert via Winetavern Street, North Quays and back on to normal route.
Stop 1358, Dame Street will not be in use:
For Routes 27, 56a, 77a and 150, please proceed to Temporary stop B on Ormond Quay.
For Routes 65/b and 68/a, please proceed to stop 7622 on Bachelors Walk.
Stop 7582, Dame Street will not be in use:
For Routes 14 and 15/a/b please proceed to stop 7622 on Bachelors Walk.
Stop 1359, Dame Street will not be in use:
For Routes 16 and 122, please proceed to stop 7622 on Bachelors Walk.
For Route 13, please proceed to Temporary stop B on Ormond Quay.
Stop 4521, College Green will not be in use:
For Route 13, please proceed to stop 325 on Aston Quay.
For Route 65/b, please proceed to Temporary Stop A on Lord Edward Street.
Stop 4522, College Green will not be in use:
For Routes 27, 56a, 77a and 151, please proceed to 329 on Crampton Quay.
Stop 1278, College Green will not be in use:
For Routes 68/a and 122, please proceed to Temporary Stop A on Lord Edward Street.
Stop 1279, Dame Street will not be in use:
For Route 16, please proceed to Temporary Stop A on Lord Edward Street.
