Sunday 15th May Bike Week Activating the Barrow Blueway, relaxed pace, easy cycle from Cuan Mhuire Athy – to Dilly Dally Café, Churchtown. Refreshments served – 8km 12 midday Families, including young children, under 16yrs must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Start/Finish at Cuan Mhuire Centre, Athy, Co. Kildare
Tuesday 17th May Athy – Maganey School Cycle 10am School Cycle and Walk Event Ardscoil Athy – Maganey
Wednesday 18th May All County Cycle on Wednesday All Day Cycle to school Countywide
Thursday 19th May Cycle to Work Day All Day Cycle to Work Countywide
Friday 20th May School Events – South Kildare All Day Cycle Training Five Schools
Heritage Cycle of Naas 7pm All Cyclists Meeting at Canal Harbour Naas
Saturday 21st May Kildare Cycling & Walking Promotion Unit. Kildare Cycling Officer will provide safety tips, advise and best practices for cyclists and motorists. 10am to 2pm Community, Families and Youth Emily Square, Athy
Bike Security Tagging. Athy Gardaí will provide advice on bike tagging and bike security, to help prevent bikes being stolen. 10am to 2pm All Cyclists Emily Square, Athy
Bike Health Checks – Infinity Cycles, Athy will provide a free bicycle maintenance check and advise on any repairs needed. Bring your bicycle down for a bike health check 10am to 2pm All Cyclists Emily Square, Athy
Bike Demo’s. Athy Wheelers and AXA Community Bikes will provide bicycle demonstrations and bike checks. 10am to 2pm All Cyclists Emily Square, Athy
Sunday 22nd May Monasterevin – Fisherstown Barrow Blueway Community Bike Ride 2pm Family/Group/Community Meet at Monasterevin Playground at Lifting Bridge
Athy to Vicarstown, mixture of Barrow Blueway and public road, refreshments served at SVT Canoeing & Kayaking Club, and return – 25km Registration at 1.30pm leaving at 2pm Stronger cyclists Start/Finish at Emily Square Athy
Naas-Sallins Greenway Car Free Cycle 11am Family / Leisure Start at K-Leisure Naas and finish at Sallins Canal Café
Family Cycle along the Greenway from Maynooth to Kilcock 2.30pm Family
