Diversions to Route 139 will be in place in Maynooth and Clane in April.

Maynooth Diversions

Due to works on Parson Street Maynooth, the following diversion will be in place during these dates:

Saturday 4th of April – Sunday 19th of April

Naas to Blanchardstown Services:

Naas to Blanchardstown services will travel from Newtown Road via Meadowbrook Road, Meadowbrook Link Road and Straffan Road to Maynooth Main Street.

The following stop will be out of service at this time:

  • Maynooth University [Stop 10049]

Blanchardstown to Naas Services:

Blanchardstown to Naas services will travel from Maynooth Main Street via Straffan Road, Meadowbrook Link Road and Meadowbrook Road to Newtown Road.

 

Clane Diversions

Due to road works in Clane town centre, the following diversion will be in place during these dates:

Monday 6th of April – Saturday 18th of April

Naas to Blanchardstown Services:

Naas to Blanchardstown services will serve passengers in Clane at Stop 102631 (Clane) on Prosperous Road (adjacent to Aldi) and will travel via Prosperous Road (R403), Church View Lawns and R408 to Rathcoffey.

The following stops will be out of service at this time:

  • Clane [Stop 10042]
  • College Road [Stop 10043]
  • Hillview Heights [Stop 10044]

Blanchardstown to Naas Services

Blanchardstown to Naas services will travel from Rathcoffey via R408, Church View Lawns and Prosperous Road (R403). Passengers in Clane will be served at Stop 10058 (Clane Main Street).

The following stops will be out of service at this time:

  • Hillview Heights [Stop 10056]
  • College Road [Stop 10057]

 

Route 139 Naas to Blanchardstown – Service Update:

All pick-up / drop-off only restrictions have been removed on the Route 139 Naas to Blanchardstown bus service as of 18th March 2020. All scheduled services will now serve all stops in Clane, Sallins and Naas, on a temporary basis until further notice.

The orbital route has 9 services daily bringing Naas, Sallins, Clane, Rathcoffey, Maynooth, Leixlip and Blanchardstown a whole lot closer.

Pick up and set down between Naas and Clane is permitted on the 7:00pm, 9:00pm and 10:35pm services Monday to Saturday, and on all services on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Route 139 (operated by JJ Kavanagh and Sons) is fully integrated in the TFI Journey Planner. The TFI Journey Planner is a door-to-door journey planner that provides service information, directions and time estimates for taking a journey on all licenced public transport providers across Ireland.
