Pupils will bring bikes to local park where there is a 800m track for the children to complete a 5km cycle. The children will have a picnic after, family members and a safety officer will be invited for health and safety purposes Helmets and Safety lessons will be completed in class in advance. 4 KM BIKE loop from Portarlington town out and around Derryounce Lakes and Trails and back to town. All trail barriers will be open to allow cyclists to use the trails for cycling over a scheduled period (10am -12pm) on the day. Local school welcome
