Limerick Rolls – City Centre Street Party and Family Cycle

May 16 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

As part of Bike Week Limerick, Limerick City and County Council in partnership with Limerick Sports Partnership will host a city centre cycling celebration, combining a street party with a group cycle designed for families and cyclists of all ages and abilities.

The event will take place on Davis Street, which will serve as the central hub for the day, with activities for children and adults.
From Davis Street, a group cycle will bring people on a 5 km loop around the city centre. The cycle will be sociable, inclusive and suitable for all ages and abilities.

To support participation from across Limerick city, guided group cycles will be organised to bring people to Davis Street from the west (Mungret Park), east (Castletroy Park) and north (Mayorstone Quarry) sides of the city. These rides will be led by experienced bike leaders and are intended to make it easier and more comfortable for families and less confident cyclists to join the event.

As the party is wrapping up, participants will also have the option to cycle back as part of a guided group, returning along the same routes and accompanied by experienced bike leaders.
