From 10th to 18th May, businesses across Clare are invited to take part in a fun and active challenge! Teams will cycle as many kilometres as possible, aiming to collectively cover the distance across Clare. Whether commuting to work or cycling for leisure, every kilometre counts!

Our Learn to Cycle class is an exciting and engaging program designed to teach children the fundamentals of cycling in a safe and supportive environment. Aimed at children aged 5-12 years old, our class is perfect for beginners who are eager to hop on a bike and start pedalling.
Held near the ATU grounds, the farmers market will reward visitors who cycle with a free tea or coffee and treat at LaPapa restaurant. This Bike Week initiative promotes active travel, supports local business, and encourages a shift from car to bike. A short survey will capture cycling habits and interest.
John from the Bike mobile will do basic maintenance checks on bicycles to ensure the bikes are safe and running smoothly. Experienced mechanics check everything on participants' bikes from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more.
We will hold the event in our local GAA club Mary;land GAA grounds. Each cjhild will bring their bike and we will employ coaches from the local triathlon club to facilitate the training. Children will be taught about safety on bikes on the road, the impotance of using safety equipment such as hi-vis jackets and cycling safely and responsibly. The coaches will show the children skills on the day and will hold a mini cycling evet at the club.

This Bike Week Women's Introductory Gravel Cycle is in partnership with Longford Cycling and Racing Club. The event will take novice and intermediate cyclists over two distances 30k and 50k, across cycling trails and Royal Canal Greenway in South Longford. The event will be focused on given women and enjoyable and safe introduction to gravel cycling.
Aimed at children aged 5-12 years old, our class is perfect for beginners who are eager to hop on a bike and start pedalling.
This event is for older adults (aged 55+) of all abilities. Join us on the beautiful Limerick Greenway for a social cycle. This session will start in Barnagh Greenway Hub, and be facilitated by Locomotion Cycles. All levels will be catered for!
For 10-17 year old youths / teenagers to learn core mountain biking skills from experienced instructor including; Track Stands, Manual Drops, Front Wheel lifts, Bunny Hop, Cornering, Body position.

Active Schools Week is suitable for all age groups and it is suitable for all levels of cycling. This is a group cycle that will promote community engagement and education about cycling. This will take place at Turlough XL Shop at F23 DK81
