Entry Point

There are 5 coloured coded routes to access the stadium. The route you must take is dictated by the location of your seat within the stadium. The applicable route colour will be stated on your event ticket.

On event days stewards will be positioned outside the stadium to provide further assistance.

UEFA Europa League Final rail travel

As part of UEFA/Garda event plan, Lansdowne Road DART Station is closed from 16:00hrs for remainder of evening.
Please use Grand Canal Dock or Sandymount.

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail look forward to welcoming all football fans, and particularly those supporting Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen, on board its services for the UEFA Europa League Final in the Dublin Arena on Wednesday 22nd May.

While the UEFA Europa League Final will be a walking event from the city centre, and from designated Fan Meeting Points (FMPs), customers travelling by rail on  Wednesday 22nd May, both for the UEFA Europa League Final and other purposes should note the following arrangements.

  • As part of Garda and UEFA arrangements for the Final, Lansdowne Road DART Station will be closed from 16:00hrs for the remainder of the evening on Wednesday 22nd May.
  • Customers travelling by DART and Commuter services during this time either for the match, or who would usually use Lansdowne Road Station should note:
    • Customers travelling from Dublin city centre or the Northside should travel to/from Grand Canal Dock Station.
    • Customers travelling from southside stations should travel to/from Sandymount Station.
  • Customers with a mobility impairment should travel to/from Sandymount Station.
    A shuttle bus will operate between Sandymount Station and Sandymount Hotel exclusively for customers with a mobility impairment.
  • Extra DART services will operate after the match finishes (including extra-time and penalties if required) to Howth, Malahide, Dublin Connolly, Bray and Greystones
  • Valid UEFA Europa League Final match ticket holders can travel for free on DART and within the Dublin Short Hop Zone at any time on Wednesday 22nd May
  • Free travel is provided within the City Centre and the below areas on the day of the Final on presentation of a match ticket.
    Services include DART services from Bray to Malahide/Howth, Maynooth Commuter services from Maynooth/M3 Parkway to City Centre, Northern line Commuter services from Rush/Lusk to City Centre and Portlaoise Commuter services from Hazelhatch to City Centre
  • Due to expected high demand, please travel early, and allow additional time for your journey.  Please ensure you bring water with you on your journey as DART and Commuter trains will be very busy.
  • Please follow directional signage, and the advice of event stewards, rail staff and Gardaí at all times.

An extra Intercity service will also operate at 00:30hrs from Dublin Heuston to Cork (with a connection at Limerick Junction to Limerick).

Aviva Stadium days and events:
There is no bike parking or car parking available at Aviva Stadium on match day/ concerts for security reasons.

From Nassau Street at Trinity College (city centre), travel along Merrion Square and Lower Mount Street. Cross the canal and continue along Northumberland Road to the second set of lights. Turn left onto Lansdowne Road. Continue through the next junction. Aviva Stadium is on your left.

There is a car park located just past entrance A on the right hand side also. The car park has an hourly and daily max charge and is open 24 hours per day. This car park is not available on match days as the surrounding roads are closed.

You can take a taxi to the Aviva Stadium.

If you are travelling from the city centre it can take anywhere between 9 and 16 minutes, depending on traffic.
