There are multiple events including festivals, concerts, State visits and sports events (walking, running and cycling).
Heuston train station – with train links nationwide, is also a stop on the Luas Red Line.
It is a 9-minute walk to the Phoenix Park gates.
For some events, diversions may be in place, and Phoenix Park may not be accessible to traffic.
Events for 2026 – Phoenix Park
Phoenix Park, Dublin 8 is serviced with Dublin Bus routes 99, 11, 11b, 26, 39, 39a, 70, 37, 38, 38a, 38b, C5 C6, 69, N2
Each of these stops is approx. 15/20-minute walk to Phoenix Park.
Nationwide bus into Dublin (Bus Éireann):
If you are catching bus into Dublin bus station at Busáras, please board the Luas Red Line at the stops outside the station and alight at Heuston.
Heuston station Luas stop (Red Line) is a 9 minute walk to the Phosix Park gates, or 5 minute walk from Parkgate Street – from where some events provide a free shuttle bus.

Due to preparations for Bloom, the access road to the visitor’s centre will be closed from Monday 25 May until Monday 8 June 2026.
As a result, the following diversion will be in place:
Route 99
Towards Phoenix Park Visitor Centre
Normal route to Phoenix Monument, divert and continue on Chesterfield Avenue, at next roundabout, return to Chesterfield Avenue and terminate at temporary stop opposite Furze Road.
Towards Parkgate Street
Depart Temporary Stop on Chesterfield Avenue, opposite Furze Road and back on to normal route.
Stop 8203, Visitor Centre will not be in use during this time.
