Transport Options – Getting to and from the Iveagh Gardens 

Iveagh Gardens are located on Clonmel Street, off Harcourt Street in Dublin 2.

Access is by Clonmel Street, Hatch Street, and to the rear of the National Concert Hall on Earlsfort Terrace.

Please note that there is no wheelchair access through the National Concert Hall gate entrance.

Transport

Most buses serve the city centre, and stop near Iveagh Gardens. Check the Dublin Bus website for up to date schedules. The Luas tram green line also terminates nearby; get out at the stop for ‘St Stephen’s Green’.

From Heuston Station

Red Line Heuston to Abbey Street (city centre) – to transfer to the Green Line – from Marlbrough.

From Dublin city centre:

Green Line

stop Marlborough towards Sandyford / Brides Glen

3 / 4 stops to St Stephen’s Green / Harcourt

6 minutes walk: Iveagh Gardens, Clonmel Street

 

Return:
Green Line: Harcourt towards Parnell / Broombridge

alight at GPO (city centre)

walk from there to Connolly train station, Busarus (Bus Eireann nationwide)  – or
Transfer to Red Line – at Abbey Street – (towards Tallaght) to get to Heuston train Station.
