Included in the Joy of Cycling – A Disability Greenway Cycle

May 9 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

This Bike Week event supports people with disabilities and their families to enjoy cycling on the Limerick Greenway in a welcoming, supportive and traffic‑free environment. The cycle celebrates inclusion and shared experience, offering opportunities for people who may not often have access to cycling activities to take part and take part in the Joy of Cycling.

A range of supported and adapted bikes will be available to help everyone take part comfortably. These include a trishaw, platform bike and side‑by‑side tandem, provided in partnership with Limerick Sports Partnership, as well as e‑bikes, e‑trikes, trikes and adult stabilisers. The event is run by a friendly and experienced team who are very familiar with supporting inclusive cycling, helping families find the option that works best for them and enjoy the day together.
The event is community focused and places a strong emphasis on accessibility.
