Public Transport service updates & advice for Dublin on the weekend of 27th, 28th, and 29th June (and Monday 30th).
As the date of your concert, sports fixture, shopping trip or event approaches, it’s essential to plan your trip in advance. Operators across the Transport for Ireland (TFI) network, including Dublin Bus, Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail, Luas, Go-Ahead Ireland, and Bus Éireann, are working to get you to your destination safely.
To facilitate the Dublin Pride Parade on Saturday 28 June there will be changes to Luas services.
Following the Parade, normal Luas services will resume.
06.00hrs until approx. 11.30hrs: (due to the closure of Merrion Square South)
From 07.30hrs until approx. 11.30hrs (due to the closure of O’Connell Street)
Parade Diversions, From 11.30hrs until approx. 16.30hrs
Additional Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail services added after concerts at Malahide Castle on 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 30th and Aviva stadium on 27th and 30th June. Details below.
Monday 30th June
There are many festivals, concerts and sports events throughout the country this weekend, and in the week ahead. Public Transport is the best option to and from these.
Please note the Luas Green and Red Line tram services may have service changes on Sat 28th Jun to accommodate the Dublin Pride Parade taking place in the city centre.
Green Line– No service between St. Stephen’s Green and Dominick from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
Trams will only run between Brides Glen and St. Stephen’s Green, and between Broombridge and Dominick.
Red Line– No service between Smithfield and Connolly/The Point from approximately 10:00AM to 2:45PM.
Trams will only run between Tallaght/Saggart and Smithfield.
Following the Parade, normal Luas services will resume.

On the Luas Red Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Cheeverstown and Red Cow. On the Luas Green Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Balally, Stillorgan, Sandyford and Carrickmines.
