Iarnród Éireann reminds customers of May Bank Holiday weekend rail service arrangements, from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th May inclusive.

The following rail service alterations and amendments will occur:

• DART services: Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Bank Holiday Monday 4th May
  • There will be no DART service between Connolly and Malahide/Howth.
  • DART services will operate between Connolly and Bray / Greystones only.
  • The following DART stations will be closed: Malahide, Portmarnock, / Clongriffin / Howth / Sutton / Bayside / Howth Junction & Donaghmede / Kilbarrack / Raheny / Harmonstown / Killester and Clontarf Road.
• Northern Commuters: Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Bank Holiday Monday 4th May
  • Please note that due to Engineering Works between Clontarf Road and Drogheda on Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd & Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, the following service alterations and amendments will occur:
    •  All Northern Commuter services are cancelled and will be replaced with a limited bus service ( details here)
    • Only Belfast services will serve Dundalk.
    • Laytown, Gormanston, Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush/Lusk and Donabate stations are closed.

    the following service alterations and amendments will take place
    • Some times – Connolly to/from Belfast Grand Central train is cancelled
    • Some times – Connolly to Belfast Grand Central will operate bus transfers from Connolly to Drogheda to meet train departing from Drogheda to Belfast Grand Central.
    • Some times – Belfast Grand Central to Connolly will operate and will operate to Drogheda only, bus transfers from Drogheda to Connolly
