Fare Capping (Zone 1 – TFI Dublin)

With your TFI Leap Card, you can travel using any combination of:

• Dublin Bus
• Go-Ahead Ireland
• Luas
• DART
• Commuter Rail (Zone 1.)

If you use multiple services in a day or week (Monday–Sunday), your fare is automatically capped. Once you reach the daily or weekly cap, no additional Travel Credit will be deducted for the rest of that period.

Travel for up to 90 minutes across multiple TFI services in Dublin for:

• €2.00 Adult
• €1.00 Young Adult / Student
• €0.65 Child

Valid on:

• Dublin City Bus Services operated by Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland (excluding Express services which cost €2.40)
• Luas
• Most DART & Commuter Rail services

You can view your travel credit balance in several convenient ways:

• Leap Top-Up App
  Use a compatible smartphone. Simply download the app and hold your card to the back of your phone.
• Online Account
  Register and log in to view your balance and recent transactions. (Note: Transactions may take up to 24 hours to appear.)
• PostPoint Agents
  Ask for a balance enquiry at PostPoint Agents and Post Offices nationwide.
• Ticket Machines
  Follow the on screen instructions at Luas and Iarnród Éireann ticket machines.

If your card is registered, you can request a replacement or refund:

• Adult, Child, and Student Cards
  Can be replaced or refunded. Personalised cards may require a new photo.

Important: Unregistered cards cannot be replaced or refunded.
We recommend registering your card as soon as you receive it.
